New Renaissance Project

Well I finally gave in and started buying some of those discounted Old Glory 25mm Packs at
a local store. Fortunately the ones still available were from the Renaissance Period, hmmm
the one period that I had been putting off for a while. Anyway my wife bought me my first two packs, yeah she's wonderful! And I started painting like a madman! I told myself that as soon
as I painted these two packs I could go and buy two more. Of course time was of the essence because someone else may go in and buy the packs I needed!

After the first pack was done, I started playing around with dirrent basing systems and styles.
I knew that I wanted to play Warmaster Ancients, mainly because my 12 year old nephew loves the rules and they are quite fun. But I also wanted to be able to play Armati and Warhammer.
Soooo after much deliberation I decides to mount all the figures on 2x2 in bases. Usually 4 infantry or two cav. 3bases for Warmaster, 2 bases for Armati, 12 foot and 6 cav for Warhammer. I used black foamboard to mount the figures on, that way the units could be moved without always having to touch the figures.

What you see below is two weeks production.
